Christine Fox Harbison
Christine Fox Harbison

Christine Fox Harbison is the vice president of the Advanced Ground Sensors business unit of the Land & Avionics C4ISR division at Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems sector.

 

In this role, she is a trusted customer collaborator and is responsible for leading overall global growth, strategy and program execution for the Advanced Ground Sensors (AGS) business unit. AGS serves warfighters and customers with ground based air defense & tactical radars, integrated air defense & air operations, C4ISR solutions, public safety security and vehicle intercoms. 

 

Harbison brings more than 30 years of experience in defense and commercial technology businesses to Northrop Grumman. Before joining the company, she held several leadership positions of increasing responsibility at Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems. Most recently, she served as the Senior Director of Persistent and Strategic Sensors, where she developed and executed a visionary strategy to drive significant business growth for a $1B+ portfolio. Prior to that, Harbison held multiple profit and loss leadership roles for all phases of program lifecycle, where she was accountable for successful execution as well as organic and inorganic growth. She has also held positions of increasing leadership responsibility with a variety of commercial and defense contractors in the execution of programs in the defense, space and biomedical fields.

 

Throughout her career, Harbison has gained significant experience in program management to include challenged programs, strategy, customer intimacy, global growth, business development and capture management.

 

In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is an active member of The Forum for Executive Women, the Women in Defense Organization, and the National Defense Industrial Association.

 

Harbison graduated with distinction from University of Maine, earning a bachelors degree in computer science and mathematics. She also earned her master’s degree in computer science from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va.
